1. Overview

Numinae ("we", "our", or "the app") is a spiritual numerology application developed by Pablo Alvarado. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Numinae app on iOS and Android.

By using Numinae, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Numinae asks you to optionally enter the following information to calculate your numerological profile:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your date of birth
  • The name and date of birth of a person you choose to analyze (for the Karmic Resonance feature)

This data is stored exclusively on your device using system-provided local storage (SharedPreferences). It is never transmitted to our servers, shared with third parties, or backed up to any cloud service by us.

Information Collected Automatically

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect:

  • Device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID)
  • Device type, OS version, and language
  • IP address and approximate location
  • Ad interaction data (views, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google LLC under their own privacy policy. You can review Google's data practices at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To calculate and display your numerological profile (entirely on-device)
  • To personalize your experience across sessions by remembering your previously entered data
  • To display advertisements that contribute to the free availability of the app
  • To send optional daily push notifications about your personal energy (only if you grant permission)

We do not use your data for marketing, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond the app's core functionality.

4. Data Storage & Security

All personal data you enter (name, birthdate) is stored locally on your device in encrypted system storage. We have no access to this data. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

We do not operate any servers, databases, or cloud storage for user data.

5. Advertising

Numinae displays ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app. These ads may be personalized based on your device's advertising identifier.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by:

  • iOS: Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
  • Android: Go to Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Even if you opt out of personalized ads, you may still see contextual advertisements.

6. Children's Privacy

Numinae is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You can view all data you've entered directly in the app.
  • Right to Delete: You can delete all your data by simply uninstalling the app, or by clearing the app's data in your device settings.
  • Right to Correction: You can update your name or birthdate at any time from the Life Path screen.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
